{"id":9154,"date":"2021-05-25T15:51:17","date_gmt":"2021-05-25T05:51:17","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/mvec.mcri.edu.au\/?p=9154"},"modified":"2021-05-25T15:51:17","modified_gmt":"2021-05-25T05:51:17","slug":"joint-statement-from-atagi-and-thanz-on-thrombosis-with-thrombocytopenia-syndrome-tts-and-the-use-of-covid-19-vaccine-astrazeneca","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/mvec.mcri.edu.au\/zh\/joint-statement-from-atagi-and-thanz-on-thrombosis-with-thrombocytopenia-syndrome-tts-and-the-use-of-covid-19-vaccine-astrazeneca\/","title":{"rendered":"Joint statement from ATAGI and THANZ on Thrombosis with Thrombocytopenia Syndrome (TTS) and the use of COVID-19 Vaccine AstraZeneca"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>ATAGI and the Thrombosis and Haemostasis Society of Australia and New Zealand (THANZ) have released a joint statement surrounding the administration of COVID-19 AstraZeneca and <a href=\"https:\/\/mvec.mcri.edu.au\/references\/thrombosis-with-thrombocytopenia-syndrome\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">\u8840\u6813\u5f62\u6210\u4f34\u8840\u5c0f\u677f\u51cf\u5c11\u75c7\u5019\u7fa4 (TTS)<\/a>.<\/p>\n<p>Following close monitoring of local and international data it has been noted that the risk of TTS is not likely to be increased in people who:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Have a history of blood clots in typical sites<\/li>\n<li>Have an increased clotting tendency that is not immune mediated<\/li>\n<li>Have a family history of blood clots<\/li>\n<li>Have a history of ischaemic heart disease<\/li>\n<li>Currently have or has a history of thrombocytopenia<\/li>\n<li>Are receiving anticoagulation therapy<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>Comirnaty\u2122 is the preferred COVID-19 vaccine for people who:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Have a history of idiopathic splanchnic vein thrombosis<\/li>\n<li>Have a history of antiphospholipid syndrome with thrombosis<\/li>\n<li>Individuals &lt; 50 years of age<\/li>\n<li>Have a history of cerebral venous sinus thrombosis (CVST)<\/li>\n<li>Have a history of heparin-induced thrombocytopenia (HIT)<\/li>\n<li>Have a contraindication to COVID-19 AstraZeneca (including anaphylaxis to a previous dose or anaphylaxis to a component of COVID-19 AstraZeneca, TTS occurring after a dose of COVID-19 AstraZeneca or other serious adverse event following receipt of COVID-19 AstraZeneca)<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>\u8981\u9605\u8bfb\u8be5\u58f0\u660e\u5168\u6587\uff0c\u8bf7\u53c2\u9605\u4ee5\u4e0b\u94fe\u63a5\uff1a<\/p>\n<p><a href=\"https:\/\/www.health.gov.au\/news\/joint-statement-from-atagi-and-thanz-on-thrombosis-with-thrombocytopenia-syndrome-tts-and-the-use-of-covid-19-vaccine-astrazeneca\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">Joint statement from ATAGI and THANZ on Thrombosis with Thrombocytopenia Syndrome (TTS) and the use of COVID-19 Vaccine AstraZeneca<\/a><\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>ATAGI and THANZ have released a statement providing updated information on TTS and recommendations for the use of COVID-19 AstraZeneca.<\/p>","protected":false},"author":375,"featured_media":0,"comment_status":"open","ping_status":"open","sticky":false,"template":"","format":"standard","meta":{"_acf_changed":false,"_lmt_disableupdate":"","_lmt_disable":"","footnotes":"","_wp_rev_ctl_limit":""},"categories":[87,8,10],"tags":[],"class_list":["post-9154","post","type-post","status-publish","format-standard","hentry","category-news","category-covid-19","category-external"],"acf":[],"yoast_head":"<!-- This site is optimized with the Yoast SEO plugin v27.8 -
