Immunisation Coalition: Influenza webinar 2 April 2025

Register now for the Immunisation Coalition’s 2025 Influenza Webinar.

Presented by Angela Newbound and moderated by Dr Andrew Minton, the webinar will cover symptoms and complications (particularly for at-risk patients), epidemiology, NIP eligibility, recent pharmacy-specific reimbursement, vaccine options, efficacy and safety.

CDIC 2025: Call for abstracts extended to Friday 28 February

The Communicable Diseases and Immunisation Conference (CDIC) 2025 has extended the deadline to submit abstracts until tomorrow, Friday 28 February at 11:59 pm AEDT. 

The CDIC is a national public health conference presented by the Public Health Assosication of Australia. The theme of this year’s conference is ‘Future directions for immunisation and communicable disease control: embracing ideas, innovations and improvements’. 

CDID 2025 will be held in Adelaide from Tuesday 10 to Thursday 12 June.

As part of Immunisation Action week, the Immunisation Coalition is hosting a free flu vaccination day.

We are excited to announce that registrations are now open for our upcoming Immunisation Skills Workshop!

The March 2025 Immunisation Skills Workshop is a half-day, interactive event, designed to educate and upskill accredited immunisation providers. The workshop is focused in the areas of:

  • promoting vaccine confidence
  • how to have difficult conversations.

CVU mini webinar on RSV: Recording available for limited time!

To celebrate the launch of the Education Portal, a recording of Wednesday’s CVU mini webinar on RSV preventative therapies is available to all Education Portal users until COB Thursday 13 February 2024. Simply log in or create a profile to start watching.

Following this, the recording will be designated as a ‘past event recording’ which is only accessible to Education Portal members.
