OPTIONS for the Control of Influenza is a global scientific meeting with a dedicated focus on influenza. OPTIONS XII will be held in Brisbane from Sunday 29 September to Wednesday 2 October 2024.

Highlights of this year’s conference include focuses on:

  • policy and advocacy.

Submissions for late breaking orals and posters are open until 11 July 2024.

The webinar was presented by Professor Paul Kelly (Head of the interim Australian Centre for Disease Control) and Professor Nigel Crawford.

A course in Vaccinology and Immunisation Science

Registration is now open for an eight-part course on vaccinology, presented by the Peter Doherty Institute for Infection and Immunity, 这 国家免疫研究和监测中心 (NCIRS)Murdoch Children’s Research Institute (MCRI).

A course in Vaccinology and Immunisation Science will be delivered fortnightly in 1.5 hour sessions online, presented by world-leading Australian and international experts. Topics are as follows:

Immunisation Coalition: 2024 COVID-19 webinar

On Tuesday 14 May, the Immunisation Coalition will hold its annual update on COVID-19 in Australia for GPs, immunisation nurses, pharmacists and other immunisation professionals.

Immunisation Coalition: 2024 Annual Immunisation Forum

Immunisation Coalition will be hosting their 8th Annual Immunisation Forum on 14 June 2024 in Brisbane. 

The free, full-day event for immunisation specialists can be attended in person or via Zoom. The event will explore topics such as aged care, new vaccines for older people, adjuvanted vaccines, vaccinations in primary care and pharmacy, managing vaccine hesitancy and targeting at-risk populations.
